Originally it was supposed to be that the media was the fourth branch in government, conducting good, quality journalism to ensure the public sector institutions (as well as private sector institutions) were serving the people and avoiding becoming corrupt.
The media has obviously failed in this regard.
However, there is one segment of the "new" media that has stepped up to the plate. The likes of you and me in our little blogging world.
I therefore decree (with just as much authority, if not more, than the traditional MSM) that we are now the 4th branch of government and the media is nothing more than a political arm of the democrat party.
