When one picks up a copy of The New Atkins they will probably be influenced by the forward written by Dr. Eric Kossoff of Ketogenic Diet Center fame at Johns Hopkins. Now my ebook software is not working with my copy of TNA at the moment (you can see some of this book in Google books), but I blogged previously on my observation that discussions on ketosis or the ketogenic diet are curiously absent from this updated version of Atkins.
More recently, the low carb internet is abuzz with news that a ketogenic diet reversed nephropathy in mice.
